Introducing Child 4 Farh*
Farh is a happy and talkative boy, who like all boys, loves playing
with his friends. Farh would like to be a teacher when he is older. He is
in the forth grade at school and continues to improve with the help and
guidance of his teachers and family. His favourite subjects are religion
and local languages. It takes him 30 minutes to walk to school each day,
but he meets his friends so the time passes quickly.
Farh Lives in a small house made of wood and tile, with his Father,
Mother, older brother and sister. Although the house has private
facilities and electricity supplied through a meter. Water is drawn from a
local well. The water is safe to drink when available. But often the well
dries in the summer months. Cooking is done on an open fire with the main
fuel being wood.
Farh has been in good health for the past 6 months plus. The local
health centre being about 15 minutes away. However the nearest hospital is
an hour away making emergency treatment impossible.
